Northlandz

A very interesting model railroad in New Jersey, which I was able to visit last week. They bill themselves as the biggest in the world, which is probably not strictly true, but nevertheless it is very extensive, spread throughout a warehouse at many levels. It's not prototypical, but the builder seems to be obsessed with bridges, canyons, mountains, bridges, valleys, bridges, trestles, hills, quarries, more bridges...
It also has a short miniature railway ride outside, three foot gauge, with a steam-outline loco powered by an internal combustion engine.
