Van Schoor tablet system

Post by steve-jeffs »

G'day,
I am hoping that someone can give me some information about the Van Schoor tablet safe working system.
I have seen one photo on line.
I believe that two types of tablet instrument were utilized.
One for main line, plus a subsidiary at intermediate junctions.
Tablet system was utilized here in NSW Australia very early on.
But, it was quickly converted to ETS system.
Steve.

Not really a direct answer to your question, but here are the parts of a Van Schoor machine.

With thanks to William Smith on the sar-l IO group
