Reefsteamers trip to Magaliesburg, 15th March.

During a holiday in South Africa I managed to get seats on this train the day before leaving. I have posted the pictures at http://g.e.r.fotopic.net/c1476877.html. The climb back to Krugersdorp was interesting - it started to rain and 2056 came to a stand on one of the steeper sections while negotiating a curve. Numerous attempts at a restart were made but most failed in a slip after a few cylinder beats whereupon the train bagan to roll back before the brakes were applied. Eventually we did get going again and arrival back in Boksberg was around right time.
