Koedespoort - clerestory sleepers

Photos of Southern African Coaches, Rolling Stock & Miscellaneous Moving Items! Photos should be 800x600 pixels, maximum size 130K. Very good ones will be moved to the Online Gallery, the rest will be pruned away after 14 days to conserve space. If you have photos of FOTR Engines and Stock, please post them in the FOTR Gallery in the Friends of the Rail Forum above.

These two coaches are not in bad condtition, although I'm told we would battle for spare parts for the bogies.

Thanks, Dylan. Not sure exactly what happened here. This topic appears to have been in the forum which doesn't allow photo attachments, which is a remnant of the slower dial up internet connections which many of our members were still using when we started the forum nearly ten years ago, which is of course several generations in cyber terms. The idea was to keep photos separate from text so that people could read text conversations without having to wait for all the photos to load. That's probably redundant now, but it would be quite a task to revise it all.

Anyway, I have now moved it to the photo gallery forums. The photo attachments now appear, but on my computer at least they do not actually open. However if you right click on them you can open them in a new tab or new window and see them.

Steve, any ideas on this?

John,

The I think photos are not displayed because of a reference fail on it's <img> tag.

download/file.php?id=2474&t=1 Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)

If you treat it as a link (the clicking bit!!) then it works.

Aha, the pictures are back again! Thanks, Steve.

I've noticed that on a few older posts the pictures can't be seen, only the link that you can click on to get them to open in another window or tab.
