Thales Continues Its Commitment To Egypt National Railways And Delivers Three Key Stations Tanta, Al Ousayrat And Sedfa
French multinational Thales has delivered three new key stations to Egyptian National Railways (ENR), bringing completion of the 208km Cairo-Alexandria project a step closer to completion. The three stations are Tanta, Sedfa and Al Ousayrat which lie on the rail corridor from Alexandria to Aswan via Cairo, the latter two on the line linking the towns of Asyut and Nagh Hammadi while Tanta is on the Cairo-Alexandria line. The delivery of Tanta station, which is one of the largest stations along the Egyptian rail network means a continuous 198km section is now ready to enter operation and is a key milestone...
