Hercules - any old iron?

We're erecting a temporary shelter to protect assorted steel pipes, girders, etc from the rain. The concrete bases have now been thrown. Bolts will be inserted in a few days after the concrete has cured and then the uprights (shown in the pictures) can be bolted on. The girders and corrugated iron are all second hand stuff which we already had lying around at Capital Park - the only cost is the purchase of cement.

By mid-June the poles are in place but the concrete still hasn't set hard enough for the bolts.

Now we are really getting somewhere. Very nice selection of photos to show the progress made.

Finished! In the background can be seen some of the machinery and re-usable "scrap" metal which was relocated by lorry from Capital Park yesterday (26th June 2008).

Now the steel can be stacked and stored. Great progress.
