Some detail in relation to building the top level trackage.
Photo 1. Basically the track was unpinned and the foam risers (commercial products) inserted underneath. The method of fastening and adjustment for the railbed is obvious.
Photo 2. As soon as the the required height is reached the ply railbed kicks in.....
Photo 3 shows the continuation of the railbed into what will be a muti-track area.
