Well, the first has gone,but here is another sightly different one, the difference being in the detail!

Surely in N-guage one would loose a lot of the fine detail as being impossible to reproduce so small?

One would, but it is possible to get a decent feel. Some of todays N guage is also phenomenal. I have not posted any N guage pics yet, but will take ssome when I am next in the vicinity for you to see. You will be impressed!
Cost would b a problem though - the N guage stuff is often more expensive then the HO/OO.
John is doing a conversion - watch this space!

John's conversion has stalled temporarily (a bit like a class 24 pulling a dead 15F and a heavy load up a hill on damp rails with the sanders not working!) so don't watch this space too expectantly. But one day...
But as Kevin says, the detail on modern N-scale is amazing. And expensive.
