41. December 2008 - Preparing to build the upper right level

Post by Kevin Wilson-Smith »

OK - the upper level has been built on the left of the layout and extended round the back. This level has now to be continued on the right.

How is the building of the levels planned?

Well, quite simply using what is in place!

The human eyeball, and a tape measure is used and the positions for the risers worked out. This is all recorded on a working plan, and the risers are then cut out and marked to correspond to the plan.
