Aircon! John's just jealous because there isn't any steam-powered aircon on FOTR's locos.

Sorry to bump and ancient thread, but I am curious, these seem to still be hanging around. I counted 5 of them on Sundays trip. What are they classed as? and why are they just seemingly parked and going nowhere? Could these be members of the mythical Class E-ish Electrics?
