1. N Scale garage layout
Hi all, im busy building a N Scale layout in the garage, the rough dimensions are 4,5m x 2,5m, been building on/off for about a year and half and so far the bench and track work are done, so this past weekend was the first time that a train ran over the whole layout. Here are a few pics following the train around, and as i make progress on the layout will add more pics here.

Re: N Scale garage layout
Nice.... Were those Atlas boxes I saw inbetween the rails? Keep us posted.
Alas my N gauge is temporarily on hold while I rethink the layout. I am hoping to restart on it in June when I get my other set.

Derek yes its Atlas boxes, all my rolling stock is Atlas. I bought it a few years ago through the net from the US when the rand was not to bad. I have 6 locos only, a GP38, GP40, SD50, SD60 and 2 dash 8's, all with decoders in, thought it would be better to buy them like that as to try and install it myself but still need to speed match them as i want to run them in pairs.

Re: N Scale garage layout
Fanie, Is it easy to get N gauge Atlas rolling stock and locos in ZA? I have a 0-6-0 Atlas steamer that I bought at a flea market a few years back and I call it my nervous loco because it shakes when it gets going. I havent settled on any specific continent for my set, just collecting rolling stock where I can. The only American stuff I have is one of those old style cabooses that is a throwback from my previous N gauge collection.
Not quite on the rails.

Derek have a look at www.nscalesupply.com, i ordered everything from them, rolling stock, track, controller, etc and never had any problems. I ordered about 4 times from them and every time everything was in the box.
