SAR locos in 7.25" gauge

Post by Andrew Giffen »

There can't be many 7.25" gauge locos as big as this:

Roll on Jim's 7.25" gauge 25NC, it's going to be hard to find a big enough track for it....

Just got to hope my bum will be small enough to fit in the tender. There must be some more 7.25 gauge stuff out there, far better building a nice 3 or 4 coupled engine. Than another 0-4-0, 0-6-0 tank engine that’s as big as a small car but to me is not that interesting or technically taxing either.

That’s a nice looking avatar you got there Derek what gauge is that?

Thanks Jim,
That is the real iota though, class 12AR 1535 of Reefsteamers. She definitely does not fit in a car.
