In the early hours of the morning, the overnight train to Chiang Mai from Bangkok, was stopped at Sil At station, due to there being a washaway. Passengers had to ride busses chartrered by the state railways to get them to their destination. In the pre dawn rainy gloom, a local set draws into the station, while a plinthed steam loco sadly looks on.
