Scary. How long did they take to clear the sand from the line? Do you know of any preventetive measures that will be put in place to stop that happening as with summer we can expect plenty of South Easter

about 2 years ago someone had the great idea of removing the dunes between the beach and the railway on the one side of the beach. now when the wind blows even driving past on the road you get sand blasted. Must have full time teams keeping the sand off the tracks.
