SAR Stored/Operating Steam Loco list

I only managed to read this file on my XP/office 2002 yesterday. The are a number of discrepancies between your list and what I saw at George and Voorbaai in March 2008. Firstly, I was told by the shedmaster at Voorbaai that only 3 locomotives were still operating, all 19Ds, the rest being out of ticket or requiring repair for which insufficient funds were available. 3324 and 2649 were seen working, not sure which the third one was.
The list below shows what I saw and my assessment of its state. Those I have marked as "stored" appeared more or less complete and in reasonable condition while those marked as "dumped" had many parts missing and appeared to have been neglected for a considerable time. Some had no plates, only plated works numbers, odd stamped numbers, in some cases more than one, in other cases none, so not all identities are confirmed. Most works numbers on boilers did not match the locos.
Many of the locomotives I saw in the museum you have marked "operational" but I would not think this is the case any more.
The locomotives at Port Elizabeth I only saw and photographed from the road and then attempted to research their identity on the internet.
Your file has helped me to identify a couple of locomotives I saw at Germiston from a passing steam train.
Finally, you have a 19D #3606 at Voorbaai in addition to the 24 of the same number, is this an error?
