Online Design Contest by Bombardier

Dear Mr. Ashworth,
We, the HYVE Innovation Community in collaboration with Bombardier Transportation, are going to host the “YouRail – Visions of modern transportation†- online design competition with the beginning of the October 26th lasting until middle of December. The topic of this competition will be innovative future train interior designs according to the needs of different user groups (like business passengers or leisure passengers). Thereby the best designs and most active members will be awarded with prizes and gifts with a total amount of 10,000 Euros. Further the winner will be invited to the “InnoTrans 2010†fair in Berlin in Germany (including travel expenses for arrival and departure) where his design will be presented according to the fairs topic “The future of mobility“.
As your Forum contains this topic we would appreciate it if you could report on our contest.
Objective of the competition is to offer the participants a real community, where they can present and collect new ideas and designs for modern and functional train interiors. Moreover they have the possibility to share their ideas as well as to jointly refine them.
