- The interior of our new addition to the fleet. Work should be completed by mid January, then just painting and she should run on the Valentines train

- The steel seat support bar is now in a powder coated brown, instead of the blue colour we have been using.

- Once upon a history time, this was a skylight window. Now awaiting its varnished wood panel, to close it up. Apparently, it was found to be very labour intensive to maintain these windows and so, in later years, the workshops closed them up.

- Refurbished roof and lighting wires in position. The intercom system will also be fitted

- Still a way to go at the far end of the coach. This gives a good idea of the amount of work required to get such coaches into running order. A total so far in excess of 20.000 rands. Then the exterior body work has to be finished and then painted

- The buffers and couplers and wheels have all been ultrasonically tested and found to be in good shape. Now the refitting of components, panel beating and painting lie ahead.
