Anyone know anything about a Garratt being shipped recently from Gondola to an "overseas collector"? See comments below. I thought everything at Gondola had been scrapped anyway?
What do you know about this, if anything? Presumably this was 971.
This comes from a buddy who lives in Mozambique. Gondola is between Mutare (Umtali) in Zimbabwe and Beira in Mozambique
Sad to see no more steam trains, all the wrecks that were here have been cut up and sent to China. This old steam train was recently shipped out of Gondola to some collector overseas.
