The second type of wagon seen at Thabazimbi Iron Ore Mine.

Note the application of the new logo by overpainting the old section and also clearly at the same time renewing the numbers, bearing marks etc. and repainting the yellow fittings.

Questions....

Again aside from the fact that these are basically gondolas is there a specific name for this particular type of wagon?

First introduced when?

Is this type of wagon used for other goods? What?

This one looks to me more like an ordinary gondola - with the side doors etc, but as I am not an expert I wait input!
