WITHDRAWAL OF THE REQUIREMENT FOR PHOTOGRAPHY ENTHUSIASTS TO CARRY A CARD

From 1 April, private individuals who wish to take photographs in privately owned areas used by the public in Adif’s main railway stations will not need to have a previously issued permit.

The enthusiast’s card, presentation of which was until now an absolute requirement for taking photos or home videos in the lobbies and leisure areas of the above mentioned stations, thus disappears.

However, certain limitations on taking photographs are maintained:

In privately owned areas with restricted use, access to which requires possession of the relevant ticket (waiting rooms, platforms, etc.)

In areas where services and the carrying out of normal activities might be affected (work centres, ticket sale offices, etc.); as well as other restricted entry areas, as established by the Railway Act, that are associated with railway safety and operating (tracks, tunnels, control posts, etc.)

PROFESSIONAL WORK

In the case of doing jobs for the communications media or in the case of professional work and research you can find the requirements via the corresponding menu option.
