DK - Odense Reloaded (2010) - Link

Post by Andreas Umnus »

Hello,
here is a link to a report I posted in Drehscheibe-Online. This report schows the German SVT 137 225 (Flying Hamburger) and an old electric loco E18.

You will find the report Here in English

More reports will follow.

Part 3 is now online.

There is a mistake at the description of the last picture. The full name of the loco is not 1990 but 90 86 00 - 21 135-7

The description of the picture with the MO 1846 must be:
He has the choice if he will refulling or watered or coaled.

When I was there a couple of years ago I got a ride in the wooden-bodied railcar shown in the first picture of part 2. Fun.

Odense is pronounced in a way which seems to non-Scandinavians to have no connection whatsoever with the letters O-D-E-N-S-E. Sounds like Uthnthe or something similar!

When I was the first time there, 4 years ago, I had also a ride in the Triangel train. You are right: It's fun.

I will still write one or two parts of the Odense weekend in Drehscheibe-Online. One is about the MY 1159 with which
we had a train ride to Nyborg this year.
The other report will show how the new IC 4, you saw in the third part, (Class MG) looks from the inside.

The special report I still will write will come in a new thread here in the forum and will show you some of the steam locos
which are inside of the museum.
Unfortunately there was this year no active steam loco in the museum.

I hope you will enjoy the coming reports too.
