Moving the burnt-out coaches

Post by John Ashworth »

On the afternoon of Saturday 04 September 2010 we used 19D 2650 to move the two burnt-out main line coaches (23443 and 25301) out of our Hermanstad site onto a storage line next to the TFR infra compound, ready to be taken away for scrapping. We moved them one at a time, slowly and carefully!

Dylan!

If I am correct It's a spare 15CA tender, that was not cut-up when the last official scrapping took place in CPX back in the late 80's. Will be kept by FotR . . . .

Ja, better take that tender out of the way or it may too end up as a heap of cut-up metal...
