Taking photos en route we noted that the train only whipped the llamas a*** !
Well, they look marginally more interested in the train than some of our spectators. A crowd of horses ignored us completely yesterday, although Steve told me that on a previous trip two horses made a point of wandering over and inspecting the train. They must have been rail enthusiasts - or perhaps ferroequinologists?
We saw kudu, ostrich and some smaller bokkies which I couldn't identify from the train yesterday on the way home from Nylstroom.
Humans sometimes gather in packs with step-ladders and strange instruments glued to their eyes when a steam train goes past...
