A few small flue tubes needed replacement as they had been wearing thin at
the smokebox end. All, except for one, of the elements have been removed and
if one looks at the bottom of the smokebox tubeplate, there have been four
tubes removed and soon a large flue tube will be removed.

- At last, the tube protrudes like a rusted cigar from the smokebox of the 19D. Spikkels is holding on until I have finished taking the photo, so I can carry on helping him with the removal.

- The scale build up at the tube ends can be clearly seen. The rest of the tube body looks in good nick. This is partly due to good water treatment and regular blowing down of the boiler.
