SOUTH AFRICAN DIESEL LOCO TENDERS

On July 24, 2012 In Featured, South Africa Railways Africa

Following on the 143 new class 43 diesel-electric locos currently being acquired, Transnet Freight Rail (TFR) is to invite tenders for 465 new diesel-electrics for use in its general freight business division. A clarification meeting with prospective bidders is to take place on 16 August. A R40,000 non-refundable tender charge applies.
