1/35 Model Engine BR52 Kriegslocomotive - In the box

Well, I finally bit the bullet and succumbed!

Last Sunday saw me buy one - building it must wait until over Xmas after I find it under the Xmas tree with much oooing and aaaahing!

The kit is smaller then the two rail guns I have to the same scale, but it is still big - the engine will pan out at 88cm when done.

The box contain 710 pieces (according to the box lid - I did not count them!). There are also some interesting bits - a small photo etched sheet and a small polythene (not polystyrene) sprue with the sanding pipes in one piece.

Three engine variations can be made - I am going to pass up on the camouflaged version! The grey and red one looks good.
