On Sunday 26, 2650 was unleashed again on a Tshwane Explorer. With smoke provided by Trainman an trainee Steve Smith, she is captured coming past the Bokomo factory on the approach to the Apies River, making up time lost due to signal stops.
One view is the zoom, and the next the shot as she passed me.
Some say the 19D is not a serious steam locomotive. Well, she can make the ground thunder....

Hmm.. isnt that one of the symptoms of Avian Flu? Great pics, although I hate to say it but I dont like that tender, it detracts from the good looks of the engine.
