3 wheeler at Millsite

Post by James Attwell »

An interesting find at Millsite, this 3 wheeled coach is hidden among the locos in the compoud. Not in the best of coditions but thought it would be of interest. Any idea on what it used do on the railways? or what purpose it had behind it?

I believe it was called a "missionary coach" and it used to have a nurse on board. Other than that nothing. Did you see the beautiful balcony close by??
Not quite on the rails.

No - but an interesting find!

Is the horse drawn buggy still there? There used to be one (recently) with I assume some railway connotation. Anyone know what?

Maybe it would have been better if you left the last one out, Kevin...

So was this the Phelopepa's predecessor?
