NBLPG Newsletter July 2009

Post by John Ashworth »

Dear All,

Please find attached NBL Preservation Group Newsletter which I hope you will find
of interest.

As you will see, we have several steam locomotive projects running at the moment
and I would ask you to please sponsor me, if only for a pound ot two, on my 110 miles
cycle ride from Bristol to Woking in August. This is to raise funds towards the shipping
costs for our Dubs Tank Locomotive which will be returning to the UK later this summer.

The total cost of the move will be in excess of £12,000 and, although we have raised
more than half of this to date, we need additional funds as soon as possible to ensure
the success of the project.

New Members and shareholders are always welcome and there is no annual membership
subscription, only a one-off £10 joining fee. For further details, please see our website :
www.nbloco.net or telephone 01189 864 706.

Please feel free to pass this Newsletter on to any of your friends or colleagues who may
be interested in us to save North British locomotives.

Thanks & Best Regards, Ken

Ken Livermore
Hon. Secretary
