A Head-shunt to Call Our Own

Post by Tom Macrery »

While not on our leased property, nor inside our fence, this head-shunt will, hopefully, be reserved for FOTR exclusive use by clamping/spiking/locking the two necessary points. The line on the left of the first photo will be ours; the one on the right will remain available for all the spoornet yard activity which goes on just outside our fence.

Clamped, but in the wrong direction. For us it will be clamped straight, allowing us access to the head-shunt on the left in the first picture.

From the head-shunt up to and just inside our gate. This last 100 yards laid by James Smith et al early in the year.
