"Task crates" seems like a very good idea. Often in the past I have noticed that new members or people who don't come down regularly are hindered by the fact that they don't have the necessary tools/materials and don't know where to find them. This is another positive step forward in making FOTR more user-friendly for newer members and occasional workers.

Hi John, I like the term "occasional workers". Think it suits many of us!

May I suggest we move the next weekend to 17-18 Oct. I am not available next Sunday. I did do a turn as board member in charge last weekend, so it is now time for Kevin, Arno or Chris K.
Liesel, your suggestions are sound and refreshing as usual.
If only the members would come down. I see the expansion of our working member base as priority NUMBER ONE for the membership secretary. Phone them, involve them, find out why they don't come and what would make them come- in short, a survey followed by an action plan.
Over to you Liesel!

Yes please move the dates. Place the call for the lend a hand on the website front page please. Work to be dona at Capital Park: Cleaning 19D. Working on 15CA.
Cleaning up the Funkey diesel.
General stores tidying.
Hermanstad: Supervising labour to sort out and move some of the goods under the afdak by the tree, into the big goods shed. Landscaping- trying to make the entrance to the site at both gates more interesting. Steve Smith will be doing the wiring up of toilet lighting for the coaches.
lots of non technical things for a change and not too dirty a weekend. If one can bring down a gardener to assist with stuff, please do so.
