15F 3127 and 2998 - early 1980s

Photos of South African Railways (SAR/SAS),Soornet or TFR Steam Motive Power! Photos should be 800x600 pixels, maximum size 130K. Pictured here are 15F 3127 named LEE after Eugene Armers wife, and 2998 LINDIE, named after Nathan Berelowitz wife. The two locomotives were rostered double header to Rustenburg for a steam special in the early 1980’s.

2998 on the right. I did follow this special and probably have slides of her, but I will have to have a look. At least this is a start.
