There's a video of the new Powerhaul Class 70 locomotives nos 70001 and 70002, hauled by 66585, at Bristol Parkway, England, on 11/11/09 0045, arriving then departing in the fog on a cold November night here

Actually a lot of the comment on UK websites has been the same - an ugly locomotive. There were some photos of it completely wrapped in tarpaulins during its sea journey and some wit noted that this was about the best it would ever look, ie it looks best when you can't actually see it.
Having said that, I have no problem with it. It certainly has character...
