600+ members on FOTR forum

I never was into rail photography in the days when I was taking 35mm stills and slides, I am really a ship and grave photographer and I only started taking pics of trains last year with any sort of enthusiasm. I dont have anything older than 2008 amongst my stuff. Although I have some historical stuff on 8mm that may be worth seeing, but I havent had it transferred into a digital format. I only started videoing some of the trips I have been on because there does seem to be a demand for it. Naturally the stills then end up taking second place. Oh how I hate decisions.

Okay, that's an reason. It's really hard to make a decision to take photos or take movies.
By the way, I also take pictures of ships sometimes.

But here in the forum are now more than 600 members registered.
I had a look at the member list and I saw that a lot of them never have posted since they are registered. I can't believe that these members haven't one photo they can show in the forum.

Andreas, only 25% of our members have ever posted a message to the forum, so I think you're right - there must be a lot of photographs out there somewhere just waiting to be posted!

10% of our members have posted more than 100 messages, and around 3% have posted more than 1,000 messages.

25 % of members having contributed is quite good normally it is around 10 % of members only contribute.
