Entire DLR network to close on December 10-11

The enitre Docklands Light Railway network will be closed for the weekend of December 10-11 to allow for an upgrade of the signalling system ahead of the Olympic Games.

Test trains will be in operation on the line, which means normal services will be suspended for both days.

Replacement bus services will be in operation but will not stop at West India Quay, Poplar, Royal Victoria or Stratford International stations.

Customers for those stations should use Canary Wharf, Custom House and Stratford stations.

However, there will be no replacement bus service operating to/from Woolwich Arsenal
station.

A ticket or Oyster card valid on DLR is required before boarding the bus.

Further ahead, the DLR will also be closed between Bank/Tower Gateway and Canary Wharf between Christmas Eve and January 2 while track replacement works take place.

A bus replacement service will operate on the affected part of the route, but the rest of the network will see a normal service.

There will also be trains running directly from Woolwich Arsenal to Canary Wharf during this period, while services from Canary Wharf to Stratford will be unaffected.
