Prince Charles Caught Driving A London Underground Train?

Prince Charles proved he is one of the hardest working Royals today when he took time out of his busy schedule to drive a London Underground tube train.

But don’t worry the future king didn’t have to put up with all those moody, unfriendly commuters he had a go on one of the trains at the factory they are built at in Derby.

The 63 year-old was on a visit to the factory and was allowed to test-drive a new train. A source told People that the prince “seemed to enjoy himself” behind the wheel of the train which got up to a speed of about 45 mph.

He isn’t the first Royal to try out famous London transport. The Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Phillip still has a black taxi which he used to drive around the capital in anonymously.

Prince Charles seemed happy on his visit and his boyish grin may have been because he emerged as an unlikely sex symbol. Earlier this week when none other than Katy Perry’s ex-husband Russell Brand admitted he had a crush on the ageing prince.
