175 Swiss railway lines under threat of closure.

The Swiss Federal Office of Transport has just announced that a full review of 175 lines is to be carried out, with a view to replacing the services by bus. These are lines that currently receive a large subsidy to operate. I think. at least I hope, that in the end - based on history of this sort of proposal - the final number will be greatly reduced.
