A related article, "South Africa's Trans-Karoo Express" (Johannesburg to Cape Town and back) although it is no longer known by that name.

Thanks Steve for the link, but as I am currently staying in Scotland I am barred from accessing it. It appears that the sight is run by BBC worldwide and not open for UK viewers! Is it possible to get a resume of what was in the article?

Many thanks.
