I do not believe this!
It was on both sites - it has definetely been removed from the Aviation Shop pages (I had it book marked).
And I cannot now find it at all on Vidrail (which is after all his own site!).
I give up!

Thanks, David. I'll follow up. I have also now been sent Jean's e-mail address, so between the two I should get somewhere!

Railway of Southern Africa 150 year
My book arrived today and it is fantastic, one of the best railway books I have seen (and I collect railways books since 1986).
It is the ultimate book on Locomotives and Trains of South Africa - Together with the book from Boon Boonzaier on the railway lines it is the ultimate reference for Railway in South Africa.

Thanks, David, for that recommendation. Kevin is kindly getting me a copy, which I will pick up from him on my next trip to South Africa.

I have now collected the copies for John and myself from The Model Train Exchange - along with all my Xmas train magazines. Lots of reading! The books are all nicely sealed.
Had a look at the demo copy when I collected ours - it is indeed a splendid book, and I may add worth every penny.
Will do a full review when I get round to it.
In the meantime the Model Train Exchange has one (1) copy left. First come first served. They will next be open on the 28th December (this Friday ).
