MH17 disaster: Ukraine’s train of despair

Dutch say train with victims' remains to leave Ukraine rail station

There has been a plethora of stories featuring the train into which bodies from the MH17 air disaster have been loaded in Ukraine. Most of them are not really railway-related stories, but here's an opportunity for anyone who has rail-related comments to post them. It goes without saying that the FOTR Forum extends its sympathy and condolences to relatives and others affected by this tragedy.

They [the refrigerated wagons whcih carried the bodies] are former Soviet wagons and use the Russian Broad Gauge. Thus they could not take the bodies to the Netherlands
