Its amazing the growth they had. The original store did not have a phone as he wanted to get you in the shop, not wasting his time on the phone.

I never knew the shop, only the more recent online sales, eHattons, which is huge. I still prefer to go into a shop if possible. I'll be in England next week and will be visiting the model railway shop in Ford, near Brighton. Over Christmas I was in Cape Town, where there is also a real model railway shop.
