Good news for Cape Town commuters who use the Southern Line rail service to travel. PRASA has been granted a Commercial License by the Railway Safety Regulator to run the People’s Train (New blue electrical trains) on the Southern Line. In Gauteng, the Railway Regulator has granted PRASA a Commercial License to operate a commercial service with the new trains on the Saulsville line.
