"Hokaai" at Hercules. The yard shunter brings the train to a halt, so as to confirm the line the FOTR train will be requiring. Soon these movements will become a regular feature of operations when the final relocation to the new site takes place.

Fireman's view of the departure line from the FOTR new site at Hercules. In the main yard itself can be seen the blue class 34 diesel used on the shunt. In the background stand the tall chimneys of the PPC cement works.

It has been many years since these electric catenery pasts have looked on to the sight of a steam locomotive in the shunting yards at Hercules. Totally ignorant of the poles delight, class 19D 2650 stands awaiting its next move.
