How did the car get in the cab?

"By the light of the silvery moon.." the scintillating globule casts her softness upon the sleeping locomotive and her firelighter. Sitting looking out through the fireman's front window, the last light of night is indeed a welcome sight to his weary eyes!

How did all those dirty marks get on the window? And what's that big round white mark?

Silly boy, the dirt is from the exhaust of the little car in the earlier photo, and the white dot is a price tag from the "Shunters Arm" pub and grill!!!!

Hmm, that's a good argument for using nice clean steam engines instead of nasty polluting cars!
