Pedestrian killed after being hit by train in West Auckland
Unusual to see a mainstream news story devoting space to the train driver's perspective, in this case via a union official, when a pedestrian dies through stepping in front of a train. It is very rarely the train driver's fault when a pedestrian or car driver puts themselves in danger's way.
