Possibly a certain flammable grade of Ammonia Nitrate, in other words, fertilizer!
I also have seen Liquid Petroleum products, ie; LP GAS, Petrol, and Diesel being transported along this route.

Quick work stops toxic train fire spreading
Three tankers containing hazardous chemicals caught fire while on a goods train at the Spoornet Bethal Depot in Mpumalanga, Spoornet spokesperson Sandile Simelani said on Monday.

The tankers caught fire at about 8.30pm on Sunday night while the train was stationary.

"We are unsure at this stage what the cause of the fire is and our forensic team will be conducting an investigation.

"No one was injured during the explosion and the driver of the train and other personnel stopped the fire from spreading, saving 11 tankers," he said.

"It is unclear at this stage if operations at the depot have started again," said Simelani.
