In April 2006 FOTR had the privilege of operating David Shepherd's 15F number 3052 for a number of trips between Ficksburg and Komandonek, with David himself on board.

FOTR had successfully moved the loco to Ficksburg from Mason's Mill in Pietermaritsburg a couple of years earlier.
