Metrorail passenger numbers are growing by 8% annually, S A Passenger Transport Agency (Prasa) CEO Tshepo Lucky Montana told Engineering News. "Prasa hopes to receive the go-ahead from cabinet later this year for a proposed R80 billion, 6,800-coach new rolling stock programme."
