What has happened to 2409, as the last I heard was that Graham Roberts and his team had the loco running? It looks far from that state now.

Malcolm, 2409 looks complete and in pretty good nick to me. I'm not sure when she last steamed, but certainly not as recently as 3020. As far as I know all three locos (2409, 5918 and 3020) are basically operable, but whereas 3020 has had her boiler inspected as recently as November 2008 and it is thought that she is almost immediately available, I don't know whether any significant work is needed on the other two before they can run again.
