Special steam tour offer for South Africans

Post by Steve Appleton »

In an effort to make his tours affordable for locals and also to provide some local flavour on-tour, Geoff Cooke of the UK's Geoff's Trains is offering special discount prices to South African residents on his upcoming May 2010 Cape Guage and June 2010 Narrow Guage steam train tours. These appear to offer really good value for money and are worth considering.
His prospectus is attached.

Tempting! Unfortunately, nothing like this ever happens in Cape Town! We have no steam or in fact no rail tourism down here at all. Sad.

Sure, flying between the months of May and June will be quite expensive seeing as ACSA air tax has been increased by 200%!
